Bergen County Zoo!
The Bergen County Zoological Park was the first zoo in NJ to be credited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. I am actually quite surprised by the price of this Zoo because it is in a wonderful price range! The price for a ticket for adults fifteen to sixty-one is eight dollars for a non-resident and four dollars for people who live there! Children who live there are charged two dollars and children who do not live there are charged five.

Demarest Railroad Depot
The Demarest Railroad Depot is one of the official historic sites of Bergen County. The station was designed by an architect name J. Cleveland Cady and built in 1872. The railroad was named after a state senator of the time named Ralph S. Demarest, who directed the project and owned the land where the railroad was built. The whole borough wound up being named after him in 1905. The depot was privately owned by railroads until 1977, when the borough of Demarest bought it. Today, it’s a senior center brimming with architectural character.

There are a lot of different people that are from Bergen County and that live there now; the number changes as people move out, and move back in. Bergen County Courthouse in Hackensack New Jersey
Hackensack was initially settled as New Barbados in 166. It was incorporated to the United States, or whatever we were called then, in 1693. The name Hackensack comes from the name that the original Lenni Lenape called the land, Ackingsah-sack, meaning ‘stony ground’. Hackensack was a small town that was basically made up of a courthouse and some surrounding buildings. Hackensack did not have a very large population, and the land was made up of woods, swamplands and farm fields. There were only a few roads, and the current size of Hackensack was smaller back then. In 1921, Hackensack became officially called Hackensack rather than New Barbados. Hackensack is governed by a mayor along with five council methods.

MetLife Stadium in Bergen County New Jersey
If you are ready to get your sport on, then you need to go to 1 MetLife Stadium Dr, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. Yes, I am talking about the number one stadium in the world! Home to 82,500 seats, this Jets and Giants home stadium is one of the largest in the National Football League or as most people know it, the NFL. This stadium is not only the largest; it is also the most expensive, clocking in at $1.6 billion dollars. That’s a lot, but with all of the people gathering to see these great football games, I’m sure it was a cinch to make back!

Ridgewood Country Club in Bergen County New Jersey
The Ridgewood Country Club at 96 W Midland Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652 is a twenty seven private hole private golf course and clubhouse opened on May 30th, 1929. If you like golf, I really think this would be an amazing place for you to stop by. The course was designed by A.W. Tillinghast and the club house was designed by Clifford Wendehack. These names might not be familiar to you, but they were pretty much the main guys that designed these golf and clubhouse spots in the early twentieth century. They obviously did a marvelous job because this place looks amazing! I’m noty really into golf too much, but this makes me just want to get into it!
