MetLife Stadium in Bergen County

If you are ready to get your sport on, then you need to go to 1 MetLife Stadium Dr, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. Yes, I am talking about the number one stadium in the world! Home to 82,500 seats, this Jets and Giants home stadium is one of the largest in the National Football League or as most people know it, the NFL. This stadium is not only the largest; it is also the most expensive, clocking in at $1.6 billion dollars. That’s a lot, but with all of the people gathering to see these great football games, I’m sure it was a cinch to make back!

Food!
There is, of course, a lot of food to try and to buy at the MetLife Stadium and believe it or not, that is actually where most of the revenue comes from. Tens of thousands of fans sitting and watching their favorite sporting events and concerts get hungry. I don’t believe you are allowed to bring your own food, or BYOF, in these places so if you are hungry, the only option is the overpriced snacks. We all know that paying fifteen dollars for a hot dog is outrageous, but you’re hungry and you want the concession guy to hurry along so that you can get back to watching the game. So, you shove the money at him, grab your dog and don’t think twice about it; but hey, at least the food is good.

Super Bowl XLVIII i.e. Super Bowl Forty-Eight
This particular Super Bowl is a history maker because of it being the first Super Bowl to played outdoors in a cold weather city. Honestly though, with all of that running around, were they cold? I don’t know. Don’t you think super bowl is a strange name? Anyway, this Super Bowl was viewed by an astonishing 111.5 million people; including me! Most likely including you as well! 115.3 million people tuned in for the Pepsi Halftime show; seriously? Does that mean that they just turned it on for the show and turned it off right after? Well, no matter what it was the program itself and the halftime show are the most vied program and performance in history. The game itself was a sweep for the Seahawks; a 43-8 victory! It was marked the third highest winning margin in Super Bowl history, the largest one being San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXIV 55–10.

If you are deciding to visit Bergen County, the MetLife stadium is definitely an awesome place to check out. Of course, it would be a good idea to make sure that nan actual event is going on before you decide to just pop up or you may not have much to do. I also suggest that you either eat before or after heading to your event because like I said, food prices are outrageous. Yes, it is part of the experience, but I’m just trying to save you money!  If you don’t mind and you just want a good time, by all means, go ahead!
